Quick detect software
For researchers wanting to read their fluorescence after an endpoint PCR, there are several possibilities. A very low-cost possibility is the use of our dedicated scanning anvil and a gel scanner. The plate is put upside down on the fluorescent scanner, with the MBS scanning anvil backing it. This, of course only works with one label, for which FAM is a sensible and sensitive choice. Only enzyme mixes without a calibrating dye, such as ROX can be used. The MBS QuickDetect software will find all the wells and output relative fluorescent values in an excel sheet.
