Job Overview:
We are currently looking for a customer-focused Marketing Specialist to develop and implement marketing strategies and objectives. This position will have the responsibility for promotional planning with a focus on digital (including web, email and social) and event marketing (conferences), meeting with and presenting to clients, and conducting research projects leading to the recommendations of product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategies. The Marketing Specialist creates marketing materials and campaigns while measuring their impact on sales.
Reports to:
The Marketing Specialist will report to the Director of Business Development.
Job Description
The activities focus on driving impactful marketing campaigns by having:
- Strong ability to tell a good story and guide the customer through the product journey
- Ability to extract key marketing messages and conveying these messages in a compelling way
- Design, implement and monitor digital marketing campaigns, both social and email
- Support sales channels through driving event marketing (conferences, distributor meetings)
Qualifications & Skills
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Life Science Industry experience preferred.
- Ability to generate both digital and print promotional materials
- Experience with CRM, Hubspot a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Willing and able to travel
- Good computer skills (Office 365, software experience preferred)
- You are highly motivated, with excellent self-management and organisational skills.
